Can't get Img Burn to burn shrek the third.

I have copied or backed up shrek the third (whatever it's called) with DVDFab HD Decrypter and followed the burning instructions for Img Burn (Burning DVD video files directly to single layer media with Img Burn). I am getting a message saying invalid field in CBD 125 files, 2 folders and there doesn't appear to be enough space on the disk to burn this image.
I'm not sure what is meant by single layer DVD's or media.
It's probably something simple I'm not doing but I am not very clever with computers.

Ripping the movie to the HDD is one thing.
If you want to fit it onto a single layer (DVD-5)Disc it will need to be re-authored (Shrunk and/or unwanted material removed) in order for it to fit.
A DVD-5 has approx 4.38 available space. a Dual layer (DVD-9) has two dye layers so can hold twice as much data.
I think DVD Fab lets you choose the disk type that you intend to burn to does'nt it and therefore will re-author the file accordingly.
Alternativeley you could open the ripped file with "DVD Shrink" which will let you compress the whole content or you could just choose the main movie files.
If you want to keep all contents and maintain maximum quality you will need to burn the file to a Dual Layer disk and for this you will need a DVD ROM drive capable of burning Dual layer disks.
If you have a suitable burner the process is straightforward.
Rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter in iso read mode.
Burn the image file (choose the .mds file created) using either imgburn or DVD Decrypter in iso write mode.

You must compress your image after ripping with DVDFab with DVD Shrink in order for it to fit onto a single SL disc...then proceed with Imgburn as usual. Here is a guide: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Guides/alkohol_guide1.html
