ROMS For Wii Virtual Console

Is it possible for me to download ROMS from the internet with my PC, put them on an SD Card, and then play them on the Wii virtual console?

As of now, no.

Current mods to the Wii only bypass strategies in the DVD-ROM drive. The actual Wii system has yet be hacked and taken full advantage of.
