ok i have been trying to follow the guide in this topic. I have two problems now.

#1 I can not find a mspformat.exe the file that I downloaded from the link was a self extracting file and it didn't have the mspformat.exe file in it anywhere.

#2 I think that the battery i was trying to use is screwed. Now when I put it in the psp I am trying to downgrade the light comes on like it is charging (without the power cable plugged into it). and It just sits there.. cant start it up with the battery in it.
any help?

The problem is you did not create the battery correctly, please make sure to use the easy installer to create the Memory stick... use the link on my profile, good luck!
