Can someone please help me with burning the XBOX 360 Games onto the DVD+R DL. I have read many threads and followed all the instructions but no matter what I do I still get that screen which says "To Play that disk you need to put it in the Xbox 360 Console" in many languages.
I have downloaded the game. I have 2 files after I unzip it. 1 is an ISO file the other is the DVD file. I have burned the ISO file onto the disk and when I put in the disk into the XBOX 360 console I get that message. I have also burned the DVD file and got the same thing. I have already wasted 3 DVDs trying to figure this out and all of them give me the same screen.
There is no other information on the CD. Just the AUDIO TS folder and VIDEO TS folder. I used CloneCD and ImageBurn and got the same results over and over.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? When I tried using the SS Merger 1.50 and browsed for my ISO file, then clicked on "Detect" after about 10 minutes I get a big screen with errors about the Video Partition or the lack of it to be exact.
When I downloaded the rar file there was no ss.bin file there.
PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE IT OUT! I AM VERY NEW AT THIS AND AM TRYING TO BURN MY FIRST GAME. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT TO DO OR NOT TO DO TO GET IT TO WORK??
THANK YOU.

Have you had your console's firmware modded so that you can play non-original/backup games?

No, I don't know how to do that. Can you please help me? As I said I am very new at this. This is my first time with anything of the sort.
How do you mod your xbox 360 console?

hahaha if you didnt read up no the simple fact you need a moded console to play backupsd PLEASE dont even attempt it.
seriously, on the 360 board theres hundreds of topics that state you need a flashed 360 drive to play backups.
if your serious about modding it you would have read up on it and you wouldnt just 'burn a game to a dvd+r DL'
when yovue read up on what it involves, how its done and how it wokrs then coem back with any questions.

the first thing you need to do is figure out what kind of dvd-drive you have in your 360. once you figure that out, then you will know easy (or hard) it is to mod.
there are numerous tutorials (search on youtube) to open your 360 and see what kind of drive you have. goodluck.

bs2713... do a search. This has been covered before many times and it saves unnecessary repetition.
The easiest way to get your firmware modded to play back-up games is to find and pay someone to do this for you (eg, google it).

do a search for Textbook's Xbox 360 Firmware Flashing Tutorial.
once downloaded it will help you to identify your drive and give you step by step flashing instuctions.
be sure to read it two, three, four times if needed, after you have it read and you need more help come back and someone here will be glad to help!
if you have problems finding the guide let me know and i will be glad to email it to you.
I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!
