I am a newbie, but i learn to mod psp's.First, this guide is ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A FAT PSP. To mod a psp, means to make the psp capable
to run isos from MS.What do u need:
-a psp with ofw 1.5 or another ofw's(u will se what do u have to do if u have 1.5 ofw)
-a Memory Stick less then 1 GB recommended if u have ofw higher than 1.5
-A spare Battery, if u hardmod the psp.
FOR OFW HIGHER THAN 1.5:
-TOTALNewbi easy installer.you can find it here:
-After you download it, u must run START command.Follow the instructions to logiccaly format ur psp. Then, when it appears u a menu including 5 choices, I recommend u that : Step 4.After it finished all stop ur USB connection, take the MS out, and shut down ur psp.Now is a hard part:u have 3 choices:
-The most simple one is to buy DATEL TOOL Battery. It cost around 50 dollars
-If u know someone with custom firmware, u can say to him to download this : <<DOWNLOAD>> Then say to him to follow what it is saying there on the Installing paragraph to make a Magic MS and a Pandora Battery. He wont be able to use his battery and MS.Say to him to borrow u The Pandora Battery and Magic MS.Then , when u have those, do what is written in downgrade/unbricking FAT PSP's.
-The hardest choice is to hardmod ur psp, u can do this by cutting the 5th pin of the battery.
If u decided to go on the 1st or the last step, u must do this:
Insert the MAGIC MS in ur PSP, then the Pandora Battery. Then press X.After all is complete, Take out ur Pandoras Battery, and insert a normal one. Enjoy ur modded PSP!
IF U HAVE 1.5 OFW, U MUST UPDATE TO A CFW. I recommend 3.71 m33-4.

How can a Slim user have 1.50? You just used the same guide for FAT and SLIM guides. There's no 1.50 in the slim.

If you wanted to help PSP users in AfterDawn, then instead of writing a messy post, I think that you should instead link people to other more organized guides.
I know you're trying to help, but put some effort into it and you'll help lots of people.

The guides a bit messy...
But if he done a link followed by a description, it would be a good guide and possibly stickied.

If it had every single link to every single guide for the subject, PSP then that would be a stickie =)

He used the same guide for FAT and SLIM...probably because he doesn't know about the slim not being able to operate 1.50.
And i agree as well about it being messy...lol...XD

I know my guide it's a little bit messy. But, firstly, I made a big mistake, because my guide is only for fat psp's, and my title doesnt show that.Maybe I should learn more about modding, and then do a good guide about modding psp's.

You should paste this into your first post
It's easier to read with the spaces:

-If u know someone with custom firmware, u can say to him to download this : <<DOWNLOAD>> Then say to him to follow what it is saying there on the Installing paragraph to make a Magic MS and a Pandora Battery. He wont be able to use his battery and MS.Say to him to borrow u The Pandora Battery and Magic MS.Then , when u have those, do what is written in downgrade/unbricking FAT PSP's.
-The hardest choice is to hardmod ur psp, u can do this by cutting the 5th pin of the battery.
