Hello Everyone, Well i finally got a PSP. Now I want to put some videos on it to view later on. Im having trouble doing this. I read the guide one this forum but that didn't work either. I have downloaded these programs so far

PSP Video 9, It found my device and converted the video but i could not get it to place in the proper folder.

PSP Video Converter 1.7, Cant figure out how this on works.

Xvid4PSP 5.0, this did everything but the file wont play it states that " The data type is not supported. ".

I even tried nero to make the file into an mp4.

I do have the m_root file in my stick and 2 othe files in there
MANV and MNV files ir something like that.

After it was turned to mp4 even tried to give it the name M4V00001

that didnt work either.

PSP firmware 3.8

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I would recommend using 3GPconverter to convert your file(s) to MP4 format rather than PSPvideo9.

Also, you should format your memory stick (backup data first) via the psp system settings menu to create the folder directory you need.
The converted videos will then go into the VIDEO folder on your memory stick.

Thanks a bunch!!! After i formatted my card they all worked perfectly.
I,m going to stick with XVID4PSP though since its free and its pretty quick too. Its got alot of options as well to play with. But once again i thank you for your help. You solved my problem.
