Hi,

I am getting this error whenever i try connect my wii online...i have entered my proxy, username and password. Any bro knows wats wrong with it?

The Access Point you are attempting to connect from is not connected to the internet or a firewall is blocking the Wii console's connection to the internet. Please read the following:

Verify that your router is connected to the internet when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. If you are not able to access the internet on your computer, then there is a problem with your internet connection. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for more information.
If this error occurs regularly, while you are playing at home, it is likely a connection problem related to your firewall settings

is ur router secure - have u entered the passcode in correctly if so?

Hi Thinone thks for ur reply..i am actually using a wifi usb adapter (as i am m using wired connection for my PC), which needs minimal configuration, no password required. I have check my firewall log and realised that the outgoing TCP packets to my ISP proxy was blocked whenever i tried to connect. I though firewall only blocks incoming connection?

Btw i am able to connect online using my pc, but not when i tried to connect mmy wii online via the usb adapter via the pc...

Please advise...

firewalls can block both ways and usually do

u need to add the wii to your trusted zone in the firewall

not too sure about the wifi adaptor nerver used one
