NTSC games on Chipped Pal console. Quick question

Hey guys. Just a quick question.

I just got My slimline PS2 (PAL) modded with a Modbo chip. Everything seems to work fine, the only thing I've noticed, is that when I load NTSC PS2/PSX games, I get a black bar at the bottom of my screen (which dissapears when I change my screen display) and I'm convinced the colours are washed out, in Comparison to my Pal games. I've read a little on scan lines on the internet and I don't know if thats what the problem is. But any suggestions would be much appreciated.

there is a NTSC/PAL converter on exploitstation.com it worked 100% for me when I play my PAL games on my NTSC ps2. PAL resolution and NTSC resolution are a little bit different. you can always try downloading the converter and seeing if that does anything. you can find the download here
