Please help me!!! Softmod not working right!

I no longer have an MS dash. So I try to remove the softmod from my xbox and I get the this message:

batch prcess failed.
The last item was: No cdrive backup folder found.
Action: rename

I can run lenux and I can ftp but nothing is working please help!!
Can some please tell me what to do to either remove my mod or restore the mod back to the correct way!
Any help would be great!

what happens when you put an original (Not Burnt) xbox game in and don't go into the modded dashboard

If you can FTP into your xbox still,
get a clean copy of the 5960 dash from here

& then replace all the dash files on your C:/ then start your soft mod again
Once the softmod is complete, some of the sections of there M$ dash may not be seen. (not in all cases- I have found the network section is blank, but once modded you dont need it anyway)

Thanks you all i finally got it to work, I had to replace the evox.ini then install a new dash to the c drive and its all good for now.
