I was already using that guide, and i can now get the point where it wants to do something (after opening the 3.71 file) with \\.\physicaldrive1 I have no idea now.
On another note, does the Pandora's battery even turn on without the magic memory stick, because I can't get mine, bought on ebay, to turn on without my memorystic(cause i lost it:)

Ah-Hah! It worked! (Darn Vista) Thank you all. Now my final, $1,000,000 question is... if i delete everything off my memory stick(minus the files like 371.phb) will i still be able to use pandora's battery?

Can anyone help??? I'm doing exactly as all the directions say with using the TotalNewbieeasyInstaller Program, it writes all the files to the memory card, however, when its done with just about everything I get the following message:
(my psp drive is e: by the way)
PSP MS IPL Installer
Load IPL code e:/msipl.bin
241664 bytes(59 block) readed
Target DRIVE is 0
Check partation Sector
Drive 0 failsafe.
Can't read partation sector
Press any key to continue . . .
This is what I get at the end, then i get the credits and the program exits...and yes, partition is spelled that way in the message....as im writing this i just had a thought...would only a magicgate memory card work? Would any real (i hear about fake magicgates) memory card work like SanDisk? Please forgive my apparently lack of knowledge in this matter, but if my SanDisk that I'm trying to use doesn't work, then i'll go buy another one....would that be my first option to try to get it to work? What's so special about having to use MagicGate anyway if that is the case? Please help....thanks
