Hey, I upgraded to the latest firmware on wii (3.1U), and now Super mario galaxy and Metroid prime 3 don't work at all (they freeze before i even get to actual gameplay...SMG freezes before i even get past the wiimote safety message!). also the wii shop died as well (freezes at the blue ring thingy).
I'm doing everything legally (no mods, no burnt copies, discs are in mint condition) and was wondering if this happened to anyone else? I never dropped the wii, i'm not using any 3rd party devices...everything is as it should be and now I can't complete mario galaxy! I called nintendo today and they said to send it in for repairs, but with the holidays here (christmas parties, etc) I'd rather not send it away. Mario Strikers and Zelda: TP work fine (so far).
If anyone has clues on how to downgrade and/or fix this error, i'd greatly appreciate it. THANKS!
Tried the formatting..as suspected, nothing. Still 3.1U and still acting crazy. What's worse is that I lost my VC games and the wii shop doesn't work now so I less to work with :-(
