I recently upgraded to Vista 64 bit. Whenever I browse the internet I hear this weird screeching noise comping out of my speakers. Also, when I use eMule and im dling/uploading it goes crazy and it sounds like some alien screeching from some scifi movie.

I have Creative I-TRIGUE L3800 48 Watts 2.1 Speaker:

I went to the creative site too see if I needed drivers for them and it said "no updates were found for this item". I use onboard sound on my Abit IP35 Pro motherboard.

could it be audio interferance, like from your cellular telephone or something else.

Run a search for "Speaker Interference" or "Audio Interference"

Sometimes it sounds like that, but it still leaves a screeching noise. Is it my cell phone then?? I have a motorola razor. I still hear the noise even if my cell phone isnt anywhere near the speakers. And somehow its related to the internet because when I rune Emule it goes crazy.

Also, sometimes Im playing Diablo II online and I hear a noise that sounds exactly like that video, and I know my internet connection is going to drop and the game crashes. It always does.

If I got a sound card would it make a difference?? Is there any other way of fixing this?
