I followed the instructions on the http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-hacks-9/t-gui...uide-90916.html
page and i extracted the files to the root folder of the mem stick and renamed the 1.50 eboot to UPDATE.PHP and put it in the update folder. I followed the instructions and went to the image icon and pressed Triangle and then slideshow but it just says no images and nothing happens. Is there something i am doing wrong?

HUH?

If you have bricked it then the only option you have is Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick.

What is it your trying to do?

Ok heres the story, my brother got a psp for xmas and he wanted me to make it like mine used to be (1.50 firm) so i tryed to downgrade it but i ended up bricking it. Now i am trying to make a pandora battery and magic memory stick. I think i made the battery right, opened it and took the 5 pin totally off and when i put it in the psp the light just stays green then tryed to make the memory stick, but whenever i try to write the msinst thing to the 4gb mem stick it gives me an error saying
to small reserved sectors

and wont let me write the msinst. So now i am trying to figure out how to make a magic memory stick so i can just unbrick the psp

Do you still have a PSP with 1.50 or custom firmware on it?

As for the magic memory Stick. Go HERE and use this guide to create it. This will install 3.71 M33-2 to the PSP.

If you still get the error message your getting then try a different Memory Stick the 4GB might not be comaptible as a Magic Memory Stick.

If VISTA is your OS on your PC this could also be the issue. Try using a PC running windows XP.

You can forget about the above downgrader you are trying to use. You do not need this anymore when using a Pandora battery + Magic memory Stick. As I said the Pandora Battery + Magic memory Stick will install 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware to the PSP. No need to downgrade it to 1.50.

What if I tried creating a pandora's battery on my psp (firmware 3.71 m33, not slim.) And everything was successful but when I turned on my psp into recovery mode holding R while it started up, it displayed a black screen with just the power switch on. Any Ideas on how to fix it?

Do you still have the Pandora Battery in it?

If so use the normal battery to boot.

If you are using the normal Battery make sure the PSP is unplugged from AC Adapter and make sure no battery is in the PSP. Now place in the normal Battery and see if it boots normal.
