I have been using this program for quite awhile, love it. One thing that bothers me is that I either have something not selected properly or something, but all the movies are an ISO image stored on my hard drive. This works great for burning onto a blank disk but I can't select the movie from my hard drive and watch it using Media Player or Quick Time. Is there something that i can do that will convert this ISO image it to something in which I can still copy it onto a blank disk and watch on my computer also. And also so that in the future movies will be save in a different format so this problem will not continue. One other problem is that sometimes while watching a movie the subtitles comes on and I can't remove them because the menu has been erased to make room.
bellesdad---attar is correct about playing the .ISO, you also mentioned changing the output file type. Are you using Shrink by itself to rip the discs, or using a different program to rip, then opening Shrink after? No matter, to set it to a different output, when you press backup you see this screen
Notice how the Create Video_TS and Audio_TS subfolder box is checked at the bottom? Do that, and on this picture the Select Backup Target
you see I have hard disc folder checked. That will put everything in the folder without burning a backup, or you could use the Burn with Nero option shown if you like Nero, you will still get a set of files in your folder to watch or burn later. Just stay away from the Create ISO image file or image and burn functions and you should be OK.
