has anyone tried this modchip from modchip.ca? I'm looking to buy 10 modchips for ps2 that would mod any version with the least amount of hassle. If there is anything better that someone could turn me on to that would be much appreiciated. thx for any help as always.

If you're talking about the Crystal Chip 2.0 Pro, then yes. I have that chip installed in my PS2. Works awesome!

If you want a cheaper solution, the Duo 3 Ultra works fine also.

Tralblazr: I have this chip in my version 7 fat ps2, and it's an Infinity Matrix family chip and mine has worked flawlessly for sometime now, definitely worth the money.

I have this chip also and it is great once you get it working. On the newer models the solder point can be a little tricky.
