1. Go to a shop that has a slim or fat psp on display (Marks and Spencer Tech Dept) kindly borrow the diplay model battery with no intension of bringing it back (like I did) or go to virgin and buy a spare battery.

2. Follow Hard modding battery threads it is easy to do. As long as you are careful it dosent matter if you smash the cover as this is a scrap/free battery which only needs to be used when friging psp firmware. You can use the one in the psp box but if you are like me you want to keep the original in tip top condition.

3. Once the battery nackering is complete download Total easy Magic stick guide from this sound forum. It is mega easy to use I used a 256mb card and it did fine.

4. Finaly insert modded battery and mem stick to psp if you have taken any of the two out and turn on. My psp stayed at a black screen just press x if all done correct the mem stick light and wi-fi light started flashing like a disco I waited until the had both stopped and then turn off my psp. Turned it back on came on fine went to system settings/info now at 3.71 m33 from 3.71. from then on used this forum to go to 3.71 m33-4. It is so easy to this take time took me 15mins to frig battery then approx 10 mins sfter downloading total easy guide to making magic mem stick.

Yeah... they won't allow you to do that....

And has this even tested?? especially the part where you take thedisplay battery... cause taking the display battery and not returning it might not be possoble...

I wouldn't be stupid enough to F-up the battery in the first place.

There is a way you can Hardmod the battery and then undo the Hardmod to get it back to normal.

@laddy5577
What do you expect - you talk of stealing a battery then try and insult members here? I think not.

edit: typos per usual :)
