my sata PCI card isnt working to detect my drive ...any ideas?

hi

i bought a 6421a sata PCI card and i remember when i flashe dmy hitachi it wouldnt recognise in slax nomatter how many times i wiggled, removed, re instrtes swapped portzs etc uisng different sata ables even it wouldnt work. then i used tigs strange one that had a metal clip on one end to make sure you cant remove it without pushing the metal bit in...and it worke4d.

i have now tested that my PC motherboard sata works which it ddint before but i guess that was just bad luck it didnt work no that try.

before i give this SATA card to a friend..what can i try to get this to detect 360 drives?

Make sure you have the newest drivers for the card installed, and make sure any raid abilities for the card are not installed. If that doesnt work try using it in another pc. maybe the card is no good.
