Hardware mod PSP cannot upgrade to 3.71 m33?? I have a hardware mod fat PSP. I tried to upgrade from 3.52 m33-4 to 3.71 m33. I ran the 3.71 m33 update. Everything went ok until the "official" look update start. It gave me a error message and the program exit. Back to xmb. i checked version, 3.52 m33-4. didn't update. I shut off the psp and never back on again. now it's black screen and green light.

Dude, you just bricked, I would have suggested to do a pandora V3 and upgrade your PSP with that, its easier!

are u sure that the display is just off? press the brightness button on your psp..see if u see anything...happens to me sometimes

can you access recovery menu?

shut down the psp then turn the psp on holding the R button

No, I can't get to recovery mode. It's just green light and nothing. i have to "hold" power to shut off now. Can it be save by P-batt? Any link for the P-batt v3?? thank you for the help.

Your PSP is now FULL BRICK you can now only recover by using pandora's bat to downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade again manually... or you could use pandora with universal unbricker v3 found HERE

It will help you flash immediately upgrade to 3.52 M33 - 4 or 3.71 M33 - 2
