I am going to get my Wii modded toady and I want to have all resources ready so I can start doing them immediately. Please can someone tell me step by step on how to update my WiiKey to 1.9b and then use the 1.9g beta hotfix? I don't want to brick my Wii. Don't expect me to know anything, this is all totally new to me. The config disc I can handle, it is just the WiiKey update I need help on. If I understand correctly, I should use the setup disc to configure my Wii after I update the WiiKey, right?

Please someone help me.

It's really easy actually-

1. Download 1.9b update
2. Burn on a DVD
3. Insert DVD into Wii
4. Have a GC controller ready or use the Wii's Reset button
5. Do what the screen instructs you to do

That's it.

Yes! My Wii is finally modded. Thanks for your help NDarkness, it worked. If anyone was wondering, I used Verbatim DVD-R and Nero Burning ROM.
