How are you trying to backup the game? video_ts is a dvd video folder where the .vob's and stuff are. DVDDecryptor works for PS2 but not XBOX (if thats what your tryin to use). you need to put the game in your xbox after booting from evox and ftp the disc to your puter (from xbox D: drive). then setup as an image with something like Craxtion or do what I do, copy files to puter then burn them as UDF(takes less time and if your short on space it doesn't have to create an image). Never had a problem yet ;)

The first step is I used my PC to backup. The us Nero 6 burning rom and select the DVD-ROM UDF/ISO and then click new. I find the video folder of the game and then drag it over to new column and click burn the current compilation and it writes a image file on my hard drive and afterwards I click on that file and Nero 6 pops up. Then I burn it to disc making sure I click the box with Xbox compatiblity.

After that it is complete and it was very quick. I check to see if the files on the original disc matches the copied disc and it does. However, the size indicated on the original disc is larger than the copied disc. What happen did it loss some files or is it okay?

Thank you

are you using flashFXP to ftp the files? at the bottom of the flashFXP window is the queue. did all of the files transfer or did some fail? when you burn skip UDF/ISO and go with just UDF. Are you trying to copy over the default.xbe and the media folder? Try to drag the D: drive folder icon to your drive, rename on pc when done. Double check your ftp settings.

There should be 4561 files, 52 folders for a total of 2.34gigs that are transferred. Perhaps the ftp xfer isn't getting all the files?

I think it's just a noob. BOLD TYPE - YOUR PC CAN NOT READ XBOX GAMES - only your xbox can. Get a mod chip, stick the game into the xbox, ftp in there, grab the files off the lan from the xbox, and bring them from there into craxion or whatever to make a backup.

Again, - XBOX GAMES CAN NOT BE READ FROM YOUR HOME PC -
