I wonder why no one ever points to this one. It "looks" official. Hmmm, WTH is "new version 2008?" Is that just B.S.?

Looks bogus to me. Every year, someone tries to sell a supposedly updated version of the free dvd shrink. I know I saw that for dvd shrink 2007

Yes, yet they do still say "free" ...

Maybe they need an officially sanctioned condemnation for the benefit of future Googlers, like I was here before recently joining :)

Bogus. Sites like that will give you the supposed newest version of DvdShrink (a major red flag, as Shrink hasn't been updated in years) for free when you pay for a membership to their site. It's bunk. Stay away from it.

The developer of dvd shrink went to work for nero ( this is the reason why recode looks so much like shrink ) and shrink is now an orphan in the update arena.

Despite not being updated in years, Dvd Shrink is still a very nice program and still rips through majority of the newer releases.

Agree.

Shrink is a central part of my normal arsenal. I just alter my process around the titles that have encryptions that it can't handle without help.
