I burnt a JPN version of soul calibur and booted it up fine until I get to the story movie after I select play mode. The screen freezes and then a japanese text appears. Does anybody have any problem with this game? I'm using wiikey on JPN version of wii. Ran brickblocker on the iso but nothing else.

If you are running a JPN version of Soul Calibur and a JPN Wii then there is no need for Brickblocker. Try burning a clean iso without patching it. I am using ntsc Soul Calibur and US Wii with no problem.
