Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but here goes:

My system:
MSI P6N Diamond Motherboard
Intel E6750 @ 2.67Ghz
XFX 8800GTX
Using Onboard Sound, which is (I believe) Sound Blaster X-Fi Fidelity
160GB and 500GB *WinXP and WinVista is on the 160GB

I recently built my own computer and installed WinXP Professional on it. After about a day, I decided to go out and get Vista for Dx10 games. I got Vista Ultimate and installed it. Everything seems to have worked out, until I started my games and found there to be no sound. Down on the task bar there is a picture of a speaker with a red X on it. Putting my mouse over it, it shows 'No Audio Output Device is Installed'.

I'm not sure what is the problem, because the sound worked on WinXP Pro. I've installed all the drivers from the CD that came with my motherboard, and new ones from both the MSI and Creative
Website. Whenever I try installing the sound drivers, it keeps saying it cannot find a supported device on my computer. I've even went under Device Manager and there is no Sound, Video and Game Controller tab.

I've searched over multiple forums, but to no avail. I was hoping you guys could help me. Thanks in advance.
