Hi everyone I know alot about psp stuff but i did something that really jacked up my friends psp. I have a Pandora's battery and a magic memory card. my friend wanted me to downgrade their psp for some reason. so i put in my battery and memory card then the screen flashed blue and powered down the psp. i turned it back on and it just stayed in a black screen it flashed the memory card lights for about 10 sec and then stops the back light is on and the power light just stays on like a bricked psp. so i thought if i put the Pandora battery and memory card in it that would un-brick it. but it just flashes the stuff on the screen that it usually would when you put in the battery and memory card fr about 10 seconds then just turns black. My friend has a TA-082 Motherboard if that would make any difference but so does my other friend and when I put the pandora in his it worked as usual. Any other psps i put it in it works perfectly.

P.S. i modded the pandora battery kinda i put that super safe thing on there so i can backup the idstorage and stuff. The only guess i can think is to make a new magic memory stick that isn't modded or anything and try that but other than that i am stumped PLZ help she really wants her psp working again.

I will suggest you to open up the PSP and check the Motherboard to make sure there are no damages or burnts, if there are not do a short cut between the memory!

PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD
PS3 HD 60GB: 1.33 > 1.90 > 2.01 > 2.17 - NO OS
Nintendo DS [+[__]%]: EZ Flash 5 Plus + 1GB MicroSD + EZFlash 3in1
Nintendo Wii: 3.2U + 1GB SD Card + WiiKey 1.9s

NeverMind on the Short Circuit to the memory, its too hard to try I am still working n that guide, problem is I need a good bricked PSP to do so, anyways just check the MOBO for burnt damage, just to make sure cause if it got damaged, you are fried dude! Sorry to say so.

If the Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick is working perfectly fine on other PSP's then it is probably some hardware issue with her PSP.

The only option you really have is sending it in to Sony and get it fixed.

When you run the Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick on her PSP does it let you choose any option at all? Like to install the firmware and then shut off or does it shut off right after the menu comes up.

What type of Magic Memory Stick are you using? original? Universal?
