ok heres my problem,

i already have a psp with 3.40 OE-A firmware and my cousin wants me to get to that firmware for him because hes clueless but i checked his motherboard but there was no wrighitng on the top right of the motherboard under the umd case but on the left side i saw some writing that was half exposed and said, "IC6001". it is currently on 2.71 firmware and i have tried at least 12 downgraders so far.
can anybody tell me what motherboard type i have
(you know, TA-082 and TA-086)

my current firmware: 2.71 official firmware
my motherboard: IC6001

Well, many ppl having the IC6001 code have the TA-079 motherboard :)
But well, all mtoherboards can be downgraded easilty now :)

Have you tried the universal unbricker V3? It used to be stckied, but I dont see it. If you need it pm me and Ill send it to you. Or I guess you could search it. Either way I dont mind. adown
