What type of media are you using? when i first started burning games i used Memorex's because i could not find any local stores that carried Verbatim's but maybe 1 in 3 burns would actually work... then that one would give unreadable disc error sometimes good media is very important
what are you using to rip the game?
i see in your sig something about kreon drive, if you have a samsung flashed kreon drive just rip with xbc and burn the dvd file to a dl disk.
If you used XBC to make a backup, that means you're either using a Samsung 360 drive or a Samsung/Kreon pc drive. And by using one of those drives, XBC does all the security work for you. Meaning you don't need to merge an ss. XBC will automatically extract the ss, dmi, pfi, and video from the original and inject it into the backup for you.
Also, what media and what burning speed? And have you updated your burners firmware?
