Can External USB hard disk be used as a game holder ??

Watup guys....
im all d way in Mozambique (yes, that is a country) near South africa...
I got a PS2 and i heard about dis hard disk business....

i searched a lot regarding this matter in this site and other ones, so now that i didnt fund anything helpful (yet) m gna start a thread....

so heres the scenario...

I got a modded PS2 it has a chip in it. I got an external USB hard disk that i use in ma PC. I was wondering if i can rip all d games i have into the hard disk and be able to plug ma External USB Hard disk (100 GB) into ma PS2 and choose any game i want, without having to change disks everytime.....

someone please tell me if this is possible, and if it is....please please do tell me how in a tutorial...

YES !! i am a NOOB (though i do understand quite alot :P)

P.S. i went through many posts in dis site, and did get to know quite a lot...so i wud like to add dat dis place ROCKS !!!
