Pan's Labyrinth won't open

I am trying to watch Pan's Labyrinth using the DVD player on my PC, the movie will not open, go to My Computer and the DVD Rom is empty,
I tried 3 different PC DVD Rom, same problem, I can play the movie on 2 different stand alone DVD players and it works fine.
Any ideas

i had the same sort of problem at one point it was showing that dvd's were empty. it turned out that the dvd reading function was faulty on my dvdrw but the cd part worked fine. I had to replace it in the end. One last thing i was told to try my dvdrw manufacturers website and try to get a firmware update(if their was one). hope this helps
