Ripping Movie Problem

I am trying to Rip Dragon Ball Z: Broly Movie to a DVD and Divx. The problem lies in ripping the Movie my friend and myself have both tried Smartripper 2.41, DVDDecrypter latest version, DVD Shrink, and DVD2SVCD. Now the movie plays fine on both of our computers to unlock the movie, no skipping, and including on the TV's dvd player. However when ripping with all programs listed above except for DVD2SVCD, at the beginning and the end of the rip, the movie skips. With Decrypter, we tried all Files, just the Movie files, and IFO rip, all the same effect. When ripping just the movie DVD2SVCD works fine though. We are trying to make a full 1:1 copy of it though. Any recommendations?

I had this same problem. Although the VOBs appear to skip, they will work correctly when burned onto a DVD+R. I used CopyToDVD to burn it. It works fine.
