Hi I have bought a psp a compatible 4gig memory card and would like to know if I can put it in my psp, connect to my pc via a usb cable and save games,put music,images and mp4 films on it.
Do I need anything else?
Any advice or a link greatly appreciated

if it says its compatible then its compatible you can use it on your psp and just make some folder(the folders have to be in caps ex: PSP, VIDEO, PHOTO

after you put it into your PSP just go to settings, then in settings system settings, then there look for Format Memory stick, done the folder will appear there and you are ready to hook it up via USB COnnection to your PC and transfer files just like a regular USB memory stick!

In order to play games from the Memory Stick you need to install custom firmware to the PSP. It isn't as simple as inserting a Memory Stick into the PSP and dragging the game backup over and play it (it is only that simple when you have custom firmware on the PSP. Official firmware will not work).

If you want help with getting custom firmware to the PSP we need to know what type of PSP you have FAT/SLIM and what firmware it has.
