Ok, a while ago i used to have custom firmware. recently i tried to go back and downgrade back to 1.50 so i would be able to upgrade to sony's official firmware... so i ws able to downgrade to 1.5 but when i try to install sony's firmware, i get a message saying... "The system configuration of the PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed (DRNFFFFFFD7)"... Iv tried installing different versions of the firmware (jap and eur) but it still isnt working. I was wondering if there was any program that could reflash it. or any other possible way to make this thing act right... pandora battery???... any advice would help...
Thanks!

Try using this guide HERE.
This will let you install 3.71 M33-2 then try updating to the newest 3.80 official firmware from that.
You can update to 3.71 official firmware with this guide but then your battery would be stuck as a Pandora Battery with no way to recover it to normal unless you have another PSP that has custom firmware on it.
So use the above guide and update to 3.71 M33 then recover the battery to normal and then try updating to 3.80 official firmware from 3.71 M33.
This should work.
If it still doesn't let you update from 3.71 M33 then go HERE and download Chilly Willy's KeyCleaner-v1.4.zip.
This will fix any keys that might be corrupt do to old downgrades possibly fixing the issue and letting you update to Official firmware again.
You might need the 1.50 ADD ON-2 installed to your PSP to run the application. So if you get the Game Could Not be Started error go HERE and follow the bottom part of the guide to install 1.50 ADD ON-2 to run the key cleaner.
After you have run the key cleaner try updating to 3.80 again.

If you have a TA-082 motherboard and you downgraded, you might not be able to upgrade to OFW...

As far as I knew 3.71 M33 is supposed to correct that issue.
If not then Chilly Willy's key cleaner is supposed to be able to fix the ta-82/86 issue.

Oh so you're on 3.52 M33?
I would have made my own little guide just now...but i'm having internet issues.
Use this guide here...3.71 M33-4 Guide
After your on 3.71 M33 then Do the kernel add-on and chilly willy's keycleaner there.
