Is there a list of DVD players, VCRs, and TVs that will work together without the remotes interfering with the other? Example: I just bought a VIZIO TV, I have an APEX DVD player, and an Emerson DVD/VCR combo. When I play a DVD on the APEX, some of the functions on the Apex remote control cause the TV to change chanels and/or do other strange things. I bought a new Magnavox DVD player but its remoter causes the Emerson DVD/VCR to come on and do strange things.
The Emerson DVD/VCR and TV remotes don't interfer with one another. What brand of DVD player can I get that the remote won't interfer with the TV or DVD/VCR.

did you try moving them farther apart from each other ? (if possible)
if you just go down to your nearest best buy u can pick up a programable remote and just use one for all of them . that would probably be the easiest way.
1. They can't be moved appart.
2. A new remote won't solve the problem.
3. The Apex DVD player and the VIZIO TV remotes transmit on the same frquency and some of the code they transmit are used by both but for different functions.
4. A Magnavox, Phillips, and Emerson DVD and/or VCR remotes all transmit on the same frequency and use a lot of the same codes, some for the same function and some for different functions.
5. What I need is a brand name of a DVD player that transmits on a different frequency than the VIZIO TV and the Emerson DVD/VCR.
