UPMS: Ultimate Loader Menu displays 0% battery life?

I have upgraded 4 psp's

(JAP)Phat black PSP-1000
(JAP) Slim Felicia Blue PSP-2000
(UK) Slim black PSP-2003
(UK) Slim white PSP-2003

The UK slim white does not display the pandora battery life correctly(0%).When i take out the pandora battery and replace it with the normal slim battery the psp will not power up.I have to use the ac adaptor to power up/shutdown the psp and then it will operate normal with the slim battery.
It my psp faulty?
