if you have a broken rear sensor for your ps2 slim then this is you lucky day as i found a workaround that will fix it for under $3 bucks, and you wont have to solder a thing!

after searching for about 2 days and only finding round about cryptic answers i finally just broke down and did a little testing and...

**guide is only for broken slim ps2 sensor (rear) and your disc no longer spin

tools: black electrical tape, foil, common sense(see step 3)

1. remove ps2 slim case

2. break sensor box completely OFF so ONLY THE 4 SMALL METAL PRONGS ARE SHOWING !!

3. **READ SEVERAL TIMES** make sure you tape down the cooper plate right next to the sensors so NONE AT ALL IS SHOWING with black electrical tape!!(ONCE AGAIN ITS THE PLATE WITH THE METAL CASE WITH A SCREWHOLE OVER IT) if not you WILL BRICK YOUR PS2 FOR GOOD!!

4. take a small piece of foil and fold it 2 or 3 times so its nice and sturdy into the shape of a square to cover all 4 sensors (they'll be a sensor under every corner)

5. place foil on a piece of black tape, and tape down over sensor covering it perfectly. apply another piece of tape on top of everything

6. (optional) if you don't want the lid to slide everything you've done around just flip lid and clip off the depressors on the bottom of the lid cover with average everyday nail clippers (see good hygiene does pay off)

7. close and and enjoy!! from here on out your ps2 will think the lids permanently closed :)

**** big ups to the lilg_06 who made mention of foil in an earlier post, it was the basis of my little test so thanks very much!!

who shit in the fruit salad??
