Changin PSP But cant keep Game Saves???

back when nobody knew about the Pandora Battery I had changed my PSP for a new one at the store. But for certain games like Tekken DR i cant play the game with my current game saves. is there a way i can use my game save from my old psp and use them with my new one???

no u cant once u change ur memory stick to another psp u can never ur saved datas on ur old psp with which u have made those datas. u can play the saved datas only if u dont play that game on another psp with the same memory stick. got it dude.

i have saves my data from different mem sticks and different psp's all i do is hook the psp up via "usb connection" then go inside the psp folder and you will see a folder called "savedata" simply copy that folder over to ur new psp in the same directory that it was in the old 1 and hey presto.... works everytime with me.

Your far from correct. You can transfer game saves between PSP's and most likely they will load perfectly fine as long as your using the same game that has the same game ID.

@PantherX

I have seen some have issues loading saves when going from an OE version to M33 version custom firmware. It doesn't happen all the time but it has happened.

As far as I know there has been no fix for that issue.

This also can happen if you have downloaded and are using a different version of the game you previously used. (different region of the game/updated version of the game). The game ID tags will be different and it will not register the previous game save.

u r right cause when i transferred my saved datas to my another psp. my second psp wont load them.

well fellas i was using the official umd tekken game disk when i saved my games and im still using the same firmware upgrade which was 3.40 OE all i did was change PSP's cus the first one bricked. Im looking at the files now in my gamedata folder and i see 2 files... GAMEDATA, PARAM.SFO and icon0.png. maybe i can edit, tweak replace or add something to these files that will get them to work any ideas?

i had a psp and it broke so i got a new one and i used my old memory card on my new one and the games works fine

I went from OE to 3.80M33 then formatted mem stick and all my gamesave-backups work cept medal of honor heroes 2.What the hell with that??
