I posted on the broken PS3s thread that resistance bricked my PS3. I'm using the term "bricked" vaguely because you can still do some things with it. I just wanted to know if any1 elses PS3 messed up after playing Resistance. I haven't seen any other post here where Resistance cause the drive to stop reading discs. I just want to know if I should feel safe playing Resistance on my new PS3. Don't want the same thing to happen twice.

I've been playing Resistance on and off since March (when it was released in my country), its one of the few games I keep going back to. I've been through tonnes of different firmware updates and have had no troubles.

I would say its an isolated incident that is very unlikely to ever happen again, definitely not likely to happen to the same person twice.
