when my psp loads up, it shows the sony logo the comes to the standard scree, it shows the time and date in the top right but loads no icons up!!!

anyone any ideas what the problem could be

try this
shut down the psp then turn on the psp holding the R button to access recovery menu
then go to Advanced Configuration and choose the option
Format Flash1 and reset settings
