I had a few problems reading the config discs, but I eventually updated to 1.9b and used a hacked bootdisc to turn region override on.
Now in my blindness, I thought I had a US wii. Being in Australia, most consoles and games come from there. I checked my firmware and found out that its 3.1E
I also couldn't change my country to US, so i assume my wii is using European firmware (hence the e)
I've wasted about 10 discs and I would sooo appreciate it if someone told me the best thing to do right about now
After I turned region override on with the 1.3 config disc, NOTHING will run, originals, backups, nothing.
If you know a solution then please share it, don't tell me my wii is bricked, I kinda already know that.
Also I used quality discs (tdk at 4X) and I'm pretty sure my wiikey is genuine.
(I tried the 1.9b recovery disc, nothing happened even after i waited)
