I have seen individuals talk about backing up 360 games, and being able to play them just fine, but my question is did they modify their 360 in order to play the video games. Is it require to modify you system to play backed up games...i know on older systems you had to but i havent read anything about people doin their 360s..

also, can someone provide me the best step by step guide on how to backup 360 games...(that will work)

yes, the 360 has to be modded to play game backups.
read the stickies on the front page and you will have your answers.

Textbooks guide (can be found on this site) is very helpful. There's also videos on Youtube and Google that run about ten minutes long. They're not very indepth but they'll give you a clear view of what you're in for.
