Wiikey region free setting won't save?

wii 3.1u
Wiikey setup disk 1.3

I try to turn "region free" ON and save the setting, then reboot the system; go to the wiikey setup menu, region free is still OFF.

It seems the wiikey doesn't like to remember the new setting.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated~~

Erm - I don't think the settings menu actually reports the settings m8. It runs with default settings which you alter then save. In other words it's not telling you that RF is off cos it doesn't know. It's setting RF as off for you to save as the setting unless you change it to on and save. Try a game from another region to test ;)

juniR is correct. The wiikey setup disc does NOT show you what the current settings are. It just allows you to turn settings on and off.

So if you set something in the wiikey setup disc and then boot back to the setup disc, it will show you what you can set it to (Not show you what it is CURRENTLY set to). Does that make sense?
