Okay. Don't think i am a noob.

I once did a pandora to downgrade my psp. But, when i did it, i did not have to use the battery. I just popped in the memory stick, plugged the psp in without the battery in the psp, and turned the psp on, and i saw the pandora menu. AND IT WORKED.

Now, i can't do it again. Can anyone tell me how i did it??

It isn't possible without a Pandora Battery.

You had to have used some type of service mode battery when you did it before. You can not just pop in the Magic Memory Stick and get the menu.

You have to be Dark_AleX's teacher to do that.

That video is a SCAM.

I can do that as well but you still need a Pandora Battery to do it.

When you insert the Magic Memory Stick and Pandora Battery the Magic Memory stick files are written to RAM and the only way to clear the RAM is by disrupting power to the PSP which means NO BATTERY and NO AC Adapter plugged in.

So to get the effect of looking like you only need a Magic Memory Stick and AC Adapter you would do the following...

1) Insert the Magic Memory Stick and Pandora Battery to the PSP till the Pandora Menu comes up.

2) plug the PSP in via AC Adapter and then turn off the PSP.

3) Take out the Pandora battery keeping the AC Adapter still puged in.

4) Show that there is only a Memory Stick in the PSP and no battery and then turn on the PSP which the Pandora Menu will come up. This is due to the files are still loaded to RAM from when you last ran the Magic Memory Stick + Pandora Battery.

This thread is crap and any new members to the PSP scene needs to ignore it. it is not possible to boot to Magic Memory Stick without a Pandora Battery.

Yes..i agree with larry..the first time i messed with pandora...everything he said happened...when i took out the battery and turn the psp back on with just the AC the pandora menu loaded again....but then tried to do it just plain without the battery at all and it wouldn't show anything...;)
