I wanted a 40GB PS3 because it's a beautiful white color...different but not as good as an 80GB. Has anyone tried to color their PS3 using this website? Is it a scam?

It looks like they are painting the items with a latex type paint... F*ck that! I recommend a skin if you want to change the color or looks..

I wouldnt do it as it might void your warranty as Sony would make any accuse not to fix your broken ps3.

Honestly after looking through them for a while, some of them don't look half bad, though I'd never do it because I'm lazy, still have my 1 year warranty, and finally I'm holding out to try and get a transparent blue case whenever a company finally decides to release one =\

Okay. I asked the company.

-The replace the warranties on any item you buy with a matching one from colorware.

-The paint is similar to automotive paint.

-you can buy new or send in (i'm buying new :-])
