i had enough of Vista the junky OS

Trying to load XP on my hp pavillion dv9615us notebook

got the message where it said couldnt find a drive

other people say i have to go in bios and change the modes from sata to ide

looked and couldnt find that anywhere

is it possible this hp junk doesnt have that option or am i missing the "know how"?

another question ..whats with the F6 installing sata drivers for XP people mention ?

where would i get sata drivers to slipstream into a XP disc?
