can i download a movie from kazaa and burn it or put it on a plank floppy or disk or whatever and play it on a dvd player

You can if it is a VideoCD, these play on most DVD players. However, DivX doesn't and had to be converted to VDC first (check the guides, they rule!)...

Als you have to burn on CD-R because a DVD-player can't use plank flops...
