ran it threw hdfab decrypter4 newest version as of jan 1. when i go to use shrink it only shrinks it to 5.3 gb. even under custom ratio the slider can't make it smaller? Is there any other free programs that will shrink it?

Lots of ways to cut down on the file size, but the easiest way is to reauthor the video files using shrink and backup just the main movie (this is what I do all the time, just don't need all the extras on the disk).

Shrink should of reduced the file size enough the fit onto a DVD-5, I've seen this happen due to an encryption issue. Try processing the files ripped by DVDFab thru FixVTS the use shrink for the rest.

Vobblanker is another good tool which can be used to remove unwanted extras from a DVD and thus cut down on the overall file size (a bit harder to use).

ya thats what i do, just movie only but when shrink runs it doesn't shink far enough to fit. Has anyone else backed this up yet with no problems

What is the name of the movie? Tried running through DVD Shrink a second time with the file produced the first time around?

its calles Lucky You. new flick with drew barrymore. yes tried it a 2nd time threw. Movies starts at 5.4 gb and only shrinks to 5.3. i have done 1000's with shrink and never had this problem.

well went back and ran dvdhd fab again then to shrink and worked no problem. Must have had a cpu hiccup 1st time i was running it.. . In the end nothing new on this dvd just used the normal hddvd and shrink to back it up.. thanks for the help
