Now that Verbatim is making MII version and they supposedly suck, has anyone had succes with Ritek Ridata 2.4X DVD+R ?
I hate waiting for Best buy sales as tehy are always sold out in store, but if anyone can vouch for ritek and a goo dplace to buy them much appreciated.

MIIs don't suck and they are still better than Ritek even if they did suck. Ritek is not good at all. The real test of how good a disc is a drive with a somewhat weak laser can read it. It will still be able to read higher quality media medias while it won't read the bad stuff. Drives with really strong lasers should be read most of any time of media you through at them as long as you have a good burner.

i agree with memnock, hands down.
a bad verb is better than any other media on the market.

Well i should have specified the NEW PURPLE label, Im hearing alot of bad things from people whom bought them and are returning the new PURPLE label Verbatims.

although i would recommend Verbatim. there are only 2 places in town that even sell DVD+R DL. one place sells Sony, and the other sells Memorex. needless i would not get Memorex, so i got Sony but it was made in Singapore. its Ritek coded but it works great. again i should point out that my box is new and might read well due to a new laser but it is working flawlessly. i burned on a Pioneer by the way, factory flash with ImgBurn
