Dreambox 500S ,receiver help required.

Have just got myself dreambox 500s model but having trouble trying to operate was doing fine at one stage then suddenly the box froze on me.The green power light remains on but the remote control is having no effect whatsoever on it,the green light just stays on there is no flickering when I press the remote,ant help or advice much appreciated,
