japanese wii d2ckey and usa backups !!!!

can someone clear this up , i have japanese wii with d2ckey , i can get japanese backup game working but can't get usa backups working is this correct that other region backups don't work?

i think i have realized the problem if the chip plays jap backups it won't play usa backups and vice versa .............time for some de-soldering

What? No

Make sure your jumpers are set (I think for JAP Wii you bridge BOTH 1 and 2 bridges) and point L is connected to the proper point on the d2c chip.
