i have a 1gb mem card for my wii and when i put in my computer it has a private folder then inside that is a wii folder and inside that is three other folders i was wondering if i could play music off of my sd card in my wii

if i can do it w/o out having to mod my wii please tell

You can play .mp3s using the Photo Channel. If you have updated the photo channel then you will need to use .ac3s I believe?

WII TRANSFER


At the moment seems to be only for the mac, but it does the job well.

Have it running on my mac powerbook & have no trouble streaming about 200GB of music & pics straight onto my big screen through the wii.

You basically open the Wii transfer app. on your mac - it automatically reads the music, photo, & movie files on your computer - then streams them over wifi into the wii browser.

Nice interface too. Only problem im having now is streaming my .avi movies, but that's only because you need to convert them to flash (.flv format) and i just havnet found the perfect balance of compression, frame rate, sound quality to stream over my wifi. but once i do - ask me about it.

good product, hope it comes out for windows & linux too.

which folder do i put the ac3's and photos in? cuz it's really wierd...
