[GUIDE] 1.50 -1.00 Downdater.

I know, I know your probably sitting here thinkin "God why would somebody go and dig this up?" Well i was searching around the various forums when I found this downdater. As i read the readme files i found out that at that time TA-082 mobos could not go to 1.50. Much less 1.00. Well enough idol banter lets get to the guide shall we.

You will need:
A PANDORAS BATTERY Loaded with U.P.M.S

A Fat PSP Loaded With 1.50

And Last But Not Least
1.50>1.00 Downdater

Step 1. Prep Your Equipment
First make your pandoras battery and install UPMS on the memory stick.(Link Is Above) Then download the downdater files (link listed above) and place the files in the root of your memory stick.

Step 2. Patching 0x005 Key (YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO THIS STEP IF YOUR MOBO IS A TA-082/86)
Load up UPMS or the latest version of Chilly Willys Key cleaner and patch key 5 with Chillys key 5. Please follow all on screen directions. If you dont you will brick.

Step 3. 1.00 Here I Come! (Please Plug in AC Adapter at this time)
From your 1.50 psp go to game and select the 1.50 to 1.00 Downdater. Once it is loaded it will confim that you want to downdate to 1.00. If you do Press X if not Press R. Once your press X the flashing will begin. DO NOT REMOVE MEMORY STICK OR POWER OFF PSP UNTIL FLASHING STOPS. Once everything is complete your psp will tell you to restart manually. So power off your psp, and power it back on. If everything was done correctly you should be greated with The SCE Logo. If not then recover with pandora and try again from the top.

---Limitations
Not all homebrew will work on 1.00. It Will be a trial and error. KExploited homebrew wont work. If you want to go back to 1.5. Load up pandoras battery and flash back to 1.50. When i tried to reflash back to 1.50 via XMB i recieved an error stating that the 1.50 update was from the wrong region. so pandora is the only way out there. This has been tested by me on a TA-082 Mobo and everything works just fine.

Yeah, since 1.00 was only ever released in Japan, you will need to use the Jappanese version of the 1.50 uodate. Grab the files while you can but be aware, it's illegal to host them. The mods will remove the link in a few hours. I got my copy! :)

there is only one version of the 1.50 update...all 1.50 EBOOT.PBP update files are identical in hash values

no fw update files are region specific yet, despite what sony say on their websites
